Wagners co-founder Denis Wagner boasts an impressive portfolio having contributed to prominent civil construction projects including the multi-million-dollar Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport, Wellcamp Business Park and Wagner Pinkenba Wharf.

Denis secured his first full time job as a cement tester in the laboratory at the Darra cement works for Queensland Cement and Lime, and went on to manage quarrying operations, construction projects and filled various leadership roles during the span of his 40-year career. He is a Non-Executive Chairman of Wagners Holding Company Ltd, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and also a Fellow of the Institute of Quarrying Australia.
