Indigenous Business Connector Series - July

TSBE is proud to host an event series celebrating Indigenous entrepreneurship and the businesses championing Indigenous participation and engagement. Join us for our July evening event in Roma for a BBQ and an evening of networking. 

The Indigenous Business Connector Series provides a relaxed and inclusive setting, hosted by a variety of companies, where attendees can network, collaborate, and build valuable connections.

The July event will be proudly hosted by MPK on Tuesday evening, 8 July in Roma from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. 

About MPK

MPK is an Australian-based energy services and infrastructure company that operates within the gas, oil, water and renewable energy sectors.

For the past 15 years, MPK has had a significant presence across the Surat Basin constructing Australia’s largest CSG gathering network for the region’s key gas developers, such as Santos, Origin, Arrow Energy and Shell QGC.

Since arriving in the Surat Basin, MPK has developed working relationships with more than 200 local businesses and employed 400+ local people, and in more recent times, the company has significantly increased its efforts to engage local indigenous businesses.

MPK believes positive engagement and support for Local and Traditional Owner communities, the region’s business sector and local job seeker market, is important and ensures the Surat Basin remains resilient and prosperous.

Indigenous Business Connectors program is delivered by Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise. The social investment program is supported by Shell’s QGC business and joint venture partners Tokyo Gas and CNOOC as part of our commitment to supporting stronger First Nations.
