2024 Local First Nation's Women in Business – SPONOSRSHIP ONLY

The Local First Nation’s Women in Business event will celebrate small business and the vital contribution they make to Queensland’s economy and communities. With more than 482,000 small businesses in Queensland, they account for 97% of the business landscape and contribute around $117 billion to the state’s economy. The event will highlight Local First Nation businesses who are leading the way in local entrepreneurship, showcasing their initiatives and programs that bolster support for women and first nation’s people. This event aims to create awareness of the challenges and opportunities faced by First Nation women in the workforce and to celebrate their successes working across our region. We will explore strategies businesses to increase their First Nation’s female participation, and provide support and resources to women in the workplace.
