Join us on Thursday, 6 August for a session of Eye Care Education.

Topic 1: The complicated world of Dry Eye Disease and know to treat it effectively.

Dry Eye Disease is a complicated multifactorial eye disease of the tear film and ocular surface. The recent Dry Eye Workshop 2 (DEWS2) is the definitive guide to dry eye diagnosis and treatment. Thankfully in recent years treatments have developed and improved to improve treatment success.

This presentation will summarise the DEWS2 report and present new effective dry eye treatments.

Topic 2 The Red Eye survival guide.

There are many causes of a red eye and many are sight-threatening. This survival guide will improve your ability to recognise the red eye danger signs which require a referral and where the referral should go too. General practitioners, pharmacists, optometrists, and ophthalmologists can all play an important part in saving the sight of a red eye patient.

Dinner and drinks provided.

While this is a free event, registrations are essential for catering purposes.
