TSBE in partnership with Western Downs Regional Council are proud to announce the 2018 Major Project Pipeline Conference event to be held in Chinchilla from 15 - 16 March. Bookings are now open and the program will be available soon.

The Surat Basin is a geological formation, and the Western Downs is right in its heart. It is for this reason that the Western Downs is the Energy Capital of Queensland. Western Downs has also long been considered an agricultural powerhouse with its regularly being regarded as one of the most profitable agricultural regions in the country.

Over the last decade, the Western Downs has become the central point for resource development. There are 10 coal and gas-fired power stations in the region, as a result of the rich coal and coal seam gas deposits. Because of the grid capability that these power stations provide, renewable energy has now quite phenomenal growth.

It is with this in mind that we have created this conference, the first of its kind, to pull together major projects in the region, and give a snapshot of all the opportunities in the region. These projects are just the beginning.

Member price: $195.00
