Celebrating the Economic Contribution of the Surat Basin Energy Sector

Energy production in the Toowoomba and Surat Basin, from natural gas, coal and renewable projects, makes a major contribution to the National Electricity Market. The region continues to move towards becoming the ‘energy capital’ of Australia, it is important for industry and business to come together to recognise the diversity of energy production, and to continue driving the future of energy in the Toowoomba and Surat Basin region.

TSBE is proud to be undertaking the region’s first Energy Awards to help celebrate the people, business, and industry that have shaped energy production in Toowoomba and the Surat Basin, concluding with a Black Tie event on Thursday, 29 April in Dalby.

This unique event will highlight traditional and emerging industries, celebrate individual and business ambassadors and showcase success stories and key contributors who have paved the way in the energy sector.
