Local company growing through COVID

Earlier this year, Toowoomba-based electrical company, Wolff Power, acquired a new Queensland business which has expanded their service offering and capabilities.

Wolff Power acquired Brandis Industries in May of this year, which is servicing clients right across Australia.

Since the acquisition, Wolff Power have experienced steady growth across multiple electrical industry disciplines including engineering and technical streams.

This has enabled Wolff Power to employ an additional 11 staff including administration support in order to continue servicing their existing clients and develop the additional capabilities brought on by the acquisition.

Wolff Power General Manager, Colin Dennis, said this has enabled them to further diversify their company and provide their clients with increased service offerings from renewable EPC to HV specialist services including full facility maintenance.

“The 11 staff that have recently been employed is in addition to the staff that were already employed by Brandis Industries pre-acquisition,” said Mr Dennis.

“This expansion of our team will provide ongoing maintenance works and project works for a pipeline in Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory.”

TSBE Energy and Infrastructure General Manager, Lance MacManus, said it’s great to see a local company grow in these times of economic uncertainty.

“TSBE recently undertook a COVID-19 survey which indicated only 8% of local businesses have been able to employ additional staff during the current health situation.”

“To see a local company not only maintain but increase their employment is pleasing for our community,” said Mr MacManus.

“It is great to have regional capability to offer a full range of services for the region’s ongoing pipeline of major projects.”

The increased capability coupled with Wolff’s original service offerings reinforces that this local business can deliver a quality service for a broad array of client requirements.
