Local People Fuelling Local Business

IOR, Australian owned and operated supplier of fuels across regional Australia, are proud to have launched IOR Rural.

IOR Rural has been established with the mission to serve the bulk fuel needs of agricultural businesses and producers throughout Greater Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

IOR Managing Director, Stewart Morland, said the business’ head office is based in Oakey with operations including regional depots in Pittsworth, Warwick, Roma, Injune, St George, and Goondiwindi.

“Each of these depots are managed by locals who have deep roots within their communities with drivers also calling the region home.”

“We are determined to push the bar, innovate, and continue to help, develop and grow Australian communities,” said Stewart Morland.

The company has been formed by IOR and Toowoomba based Agstop and is operated by locals Peter and Georgie Hart from the IOR Rural head office in Oakey.

Both Peter and Georgie have said they are committed to supporting the region’s hard-working agriculture industry.

“The IOR Rural local team is committed to providing a quality, reliable, service and we’re proud to have joined IOR – an Australian business supporting Australian communities,” said Peter and Georgie Hart.

Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) Energy and Infrastructure General Manager, Lance MacManus, said that the initiative is fantastic for rural communities.

“The IOR team is proud to give back to local community events and causes and join IOR in support of organisations that save lives and improve people’s wellbeing,” said Mr MacManus.
