TSBE fosters local health network

Practice managers from throughout Toowoomba came together on Monday for a brainstorming workshop aimed at strengthening the health network within the region.

The first of its kind to be held, the workshop was organised by Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) Health Services general manager, Jaden Frame.

Mr Frame said TSBE Health was assisting to build the capability and capacity of Toowoomba Health businesses which would ultimately result in raising the overall profile of health in our region.

GP practice managers, along with both Specialist and Allied Health practice managers from the largest medical centres in Toowoomba attended the workshop held at the TSBE boardroom in Ann Street.

“Our aim is to strengthen networking between all three sectors - GP’s, Allied Health and Specialists,” Mr Frame said.

“Other objectives of the meeting were to inform us at TSBE Health of the issues faced by practice managers and their collective requirements,” he said.

Mr Frame said the more cohesive the Health network was, the more positive the outcome for patients.

TSBE Health plans to run a series of similar workshops in the future. If you would like more information or would like to attend the next workshop please contact Jaden Frame, on 07 46394600.
