The past few months have been a struggle for businesses impacted by COVID-19 restrictions.
As the world enters a new normal businesses are turning their focus to their digital platforms and working on improving e-commerce strategies to help improve their bottom line.
Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) and CLEVVI recently hosted a workshop at TAFE’s Rural Centre of Excellence that looked at strategies for e-commerce success.
This workshop featured an insight into local business, Tentworld, who have recently implemented a successful e-commerce strategy which has enabled their products to be available nationwide.
Director of CLEVVI, Brendan McDonald, facilitated the workshop as CLEVVI have assisted businesses discover what it takes to make their ecommerce ideas success stories.
“It’s important for businesses to understand the marketing ecosystem that their online store needs to thrive in,” said Mr McDonald.
“Gaining an understanding of effective digital marketing is important for anyone selling via e-commerce.”
Attendees were encouraged to review their current platforms and ensure that they aren’t making any common mistakes when it comes to online platforms.
TSBE Food Leaders Australia General Manager, Bruce McConnel said that there is training available if businesses are unsure of the best tools for their organisation.
“Now more than ever it is important to focus on the platforms available and ensure your business is capable of navigating in this new environment,” said Mr McConnel.
