State Minister confirms seat for AccessChina'16

A major coup for Toowoomba Surat Basin Enterprise’s (TSBE) AccessChina’16 with Minister for State Development, Natural Resources and Mines Dr Anthony Lynham confirming he will join the delegation.

The Minister made the announcement at the quarterly Toowoomba catch-up with TSBE and Toowoomba business leaders.

TSBE Representative Dr Ben Lyons says the commitment is a big win for the region.

“Mr Lynham has been very receptive to what’s happening in our region since taking on this portfolio and to have him on board is further confirmation that he and the State Government see the value in what AccessChina’16 is all about,” Dr Lyons said.

The first-of-its-kind business delegation will see more than 200 Australian businesses fly out of Brisbane West Wellcamp airport to Shanghai on October 23rd for a five-day program.

Seats are still available to join Minister Lynham at AccessChina’16 which includes a one-day conference where delegates will have access to the latest industry updates from global industry leaders working in the Asian and Chinese marketplace.

A component of the trip will also be tailored business matching with pre-qualified Chinese businesses along with building relationships with fellow delegates.

The program will focus on six key sectors; food and agriculture, energy and resources, manufacturing and sustainable design, education, tourism or health and aged care.

Minister Lynham will be involved in the one-day conference during the Energy & Resources session.

“I know the Minister is very excited to be attending and his presence will certainly inject further value to what AccessChina’16 will deliver to the attending businesses,” Dr Lyons said.

Delegates will also be privy to unparalleled access to Chinese business leaders throughout the program and tours of the country’s most renowned companies.

The booking deadline for AccessChina’16 is midnight, September 30.
