Inland Rail Conference 

Businesses wanting to understand the Inland Rail project are encouraged to attend the National Inland Rail conference to be hosted in Toowoomba on 21 & 22 August. This event, run by the Australasian Railway Association (ARA) and the Australian Logistics Council (ALC), will be a chance for business to examine the opportunities and challenges associated with the Queensland section of the project and how this project will transform the Australian logistics and rail industry in the pre, during and post construction phases.

IOR Moves into The Branch

It was great to have IOR Petroleum staff move into The Branch co-working space this month.

IOR are expanding across the region and have also opened a branch in Pittsworth.

They are increasing their presence in the region setting up Toowoomba as their sales hub.

The Branch is an executive serviced office space in the iconic Knights building, where TSBE is also located.

Workplace Wellness Initiative

Registrar Dinner 

Last week, TSBE Health facilitated a registrar event in Brisbane. The purpose of the event was to highlight the benefits of working, investing and living in our region, as well as to connect people to St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba, St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital and Darling Downs Health.

Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC) – TSBE has been lucky to participate in the BAG (Business Advisory Group) with Nexus to help deliver local content opportunities on the TSRC, a recent tour and also a sneak peek before the project reaches its final milestones.

Brighter - Brighter attended the Developing Northern Australia Conference with TSBE Chairman Shane Charles. Shane spoke at the conference, held in Karratha, to more than 300 delegates about the benefits that can flow to businesses and communities as a result of playing a proactive role in the development of an onshore natural gas industry.
