The SQ Export Hub Launch: Bruce McConnel, Geraldine Doumany, Paul Hodgson, Mayor Paul Antonio, Ali Davenport and Lance MacManus

Dear @{aspediacrm-person-firstname}

We were very pleased to launch the SQ Export Hub at the sold out Enterprise Evening this month. This is a new program that is funded by the Federal Government and designed and delivered by TSBE to support the export journey of small to medium-sized businesses operating in the Oil, Gas and Food & Agribusiness sectors in the region.

The Enterprise Evening also featured Mayor Paul Antonio, in his annual State of the Region address, who outlined his vision for the future of Toowoomba and how Council is helping to set the economic conditions that will continue to attract both public and private investment.

Last week 460 people from all over Australia gathered in Toowoomba for the Inland Rail Conference. TSBE supported this event and we’ll be continuing to work with local businesses to take advantage of the opportunities that will come from this major project.

Toowoomba is perfectly positioned for long-term prosperity, especially with large projects supporting logistics infrastructure including the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing, Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport and the upcoming Inland Rail.

The Toowoomba region remains the commercial and economic service hub for South West Queensland and northern New South Wales, and is well positioned as the provincial capital to the Darling Downs and gateway to the Surat Basin.

With a strong vision for the future, we are committed to ensuring that forward thinking businesses have access to opportunities presenting themselves in this evolving region.

One of these opportunities will be highlighted at our next Enterprise Evening in Miles which will feature RES, the global renewable energy company responsible for developing the Dulacca Wind Farm in the Western Downs.

We look forward to seeing you in Miles on 12 September.

Ali Davenport, TSBE CEO

The reason that TSBE is involved is to improve the economic outcomes for businesses by improving the health of employees. Please contact Jaden to get involved.
