Join TSBE at our upcoming Information Session to discuss funding options for exporters, including export market development grants administered by Austrade, Queensland Government export assistance, and assistance provided by Export Finance Australia.

This information session will provide an outline of the funding options available with opportunities to ask questions and discuss with experts from Trade & Investment Queensland, Austrade, and Export Finance Australia.

The Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) scheme is a key Australian Government financial assistance program for small to medium aspiring and growing export-ready businesses.

It encourages businesses to increase international marketing and promotion expenditure to achieve more sustainable international sales. It also provides businesses with an opportunity to enter and embed themselves in global value chains – something that encompasses 80% of global trade.

EMDG recipients include many of Australia’s best-known exporters. The vast majority of recipients report that the scheme is invaluable in helping them access new markets and develop better international business and cultural understanding.

The Go Global Export Program (Go Global) provides Queensland’s export-ready small and medium-sized businesses (SME’s) with financial support to enter a new international market.

With current disruptions felt in the supply chain, the Go Global grant is expected to be announced again soon. This information session will discuss the eligibility criteria and application process with regional representatives from Trade & Investment Queensland (TIQ).

Export Finance Australia (EFA) is the government’s export credit agency. Previously known as EFIC, EFA has assisted many exporters to develop opportunities.

EFA provides financial expertise and solutions to drive sustainable growth that benefits Australia and their partners. Through loans, guarantees, bonds and insurance options EFA enables SME's, corporate and government to take on export-related opportunities, and support infrastructure development in the Pacific region and beyond.
