Chinchilla Community Commerce Industry

Chinchilla Community Commerce & Industry's (CCCI) main objective is to assist the community to improve the economic conditions of the town and profitability of its members. It will strive to enhance the liveability of the community and to help provide a prosperous town that is safe and great for families to grow up in and live.

The CCCI will:

• Act as the “voice” or representation of Chinchilla across business and community,

• Advocate and secure funding/projects/campaigns for the improvement of the town eg Wambo Street Crossing,

• Evaluate and advocate for members on issues impacting the town such as town plans, flood issues, services, roads, facilities, housing, population, crime and appearance eg encouraging more workers to live in Chinchilla instead of FIFO,

• Networking events to encourage business to business contact. These events will be held once a quarter,

• Educational seminars free to all members eg Customer service seminars for your staff,

• Hold events that stimulate the economy and community. Events like the Chinchilla One Long Table and the Christmas Street party that encourage community connection and energise local businesses.
