Privately owned by employees, Aurecon formed in 2009 when Africon, Connell Wagner and Ninham Shand announced the formation of a new global group.

In Toowoomba, Aurecon has been involved with the design and documentation of numerous road design projects for the Department’s Metropolitan, Darling Downs and South West districts.

These projects have ranged from intersection resurfacings to significant intersection upgrades on State highways. Through involvement with these projects Aurecon staff have gained a strong working knowledge of the design requirements and the construction constraints associated with these works.

Aurecon design staff have an understanding of construction practices, sequence and limitations enabling us to deliver practical and cost effective solutions.
