Laboratory for Advanced Material Testing Services Pty Ltd (LMATS), is an Australian owned, NATA accredited laboratory to ISO: 17025. LMATS operates testing and inspection laboratories in most major state capitals of Australia as well as Newcastle and Albury, with more locations opening soon. LMATS ensure a comprehensive national geographical coverage, offering convenience, continuity of services and cost effective sourcing. Offering our clients an extensive range of alternative and advanced Non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and provide a full array of Destructive/Mechanical testing.

LMATS supply several advanced cost saving options to our clients such as Eddy Current Array (ECA), Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC), Long Range/Guided Wave Ultrasonic (LRUT/GWUT), Computer Radiography (CRT). Our latest acquisition, which makes us the only company within Australia to own and use Low Frequency Electromagnetic Test (LFET) for detecting both internal/external discontinuities of boiler tubes. These methods are supplying our clients with extensive data in a shorter time frame at considerable cost savings compared to conventional methods.

LMATS provides expertise in the field of Advanced NDT, NDT, Metallurgical and Mechanical testing, Chemical Analysis and Corrosion Tests, Pressure Vessel and Storage Tank Inspections, Failure Investigations, Asset Life Extension and Management programs. LMATS employs Engineers, AICIP, API, WTIA, NACE & AINDT Certified personnel for testing and inspections services. We also offer root cause analysis through metallurgical/chemical analysis as well as assisting with repair/rectification procedures, on-going database maintenance strategies and continuous condition monitoring.
