We are thrilled to have guest speaker Silas Croucher, Project Director of Destination Gold Coast Consortium, who is delivering the second hotel and apartments tower as part the $2b masterplan for The Star Gold Coast.

Previously, with more than 20 years’ experience in the property industry, Silas has been involved in some of Queensland’s iconic developments, including the Brisbane Showgrounds urban renewal.

During a number of years with Stockland he was focused on retail, with involvement in neighbourhood to regional centres across Queensland, Victora and Perth.

For the past 10 years, his experience has been in large mixed use urban precincts in Brisbane with roles at Anthony John Group,  and more recently, Lendlease. During this time, Silas has led urban retail, commercial office, life science and build to rent project teams.

With a clear understanding of the fundamental challenges to the delivery of large scale projects from inception to completion, Silas brings strong leadership, development and stakeholder management skills to a successful project delivery.

Silas began his career within the valuation professional in 2003, practicing as a registered valuer in Queensland for two years before transitioning to the property development industry.
