Please join us for our next Enterprise Evening in Toowoomba where we will hear from Phil Gregory, Director of Projects, Planning, and Property at Darling Downs Health.

Phil will be discussing the budget announcement of a day surgery to be built at Baillie Henderson Hospital, as well as providing updates on the new Kingaroy Hospital which is nearing completion.

A sector that employs about 12,500 full-time equivalent jobs, the health sector is the largest employer in our region, and we can use health to grow the economy.

Phil will also be discussing updates on the proposed new Toowoomba Hospital, a Health and Knowledge Precinct at the Baillie Henderson Hospital campus that would future-proof the region. The proposed precinct would include extra beds and consulting rooms along with greater capacity for online health services.

It would also attract biotech and Meditech investment along with high-skilled workers chasing high-paying jobs, with the income from this filtering through the wider economy into our other sectors including construction, hospitality, and retail.

The Toowoomba Hospital Redevelopment at the Baillie Henderson site would reduce pressure on the city’s four hospitals and bring about a widespread economic boost, and we are looking forward to hearing more about this on the night.

Our Enterprise Evening's are a great chance to network with like-minded businesses and includes drinks and canapes.
