We invite you to join us for an Information Session on 14 September with the SQ Export Hub to discuss funding options for exporters, including export market development grants, export assistance, and export finance assistance.

The session will provide an outline of the new reforms made to the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program which came into effect on 1 July 2021, reorienting EMDG from a reimbursement scheme to a grant program. Speakers will outline how you can plan your promotional expenses for 2021-22 under the new EMDG program and transition with both the reimbursement scheme and grant program concurrently.

The EMDG scheme is a key Australian Government financial assistance program for growing export-ready businesses and assists with international marketing and promotion expenditure.

We will also cover funding options available with Trade & Investment Queensland, with the Go Global Export Program (Go Global) opening soon and providing Queensland’s export-ready small and medium-sized businesses with financial support to enter a new international market.
The Go Global grant is designed to help your business overcome barriers to exporting when working with a new buyer or in a new market, such as accreditation, logistics, product trials, and packaging

On the day, ABA Legal Group will provide advice and guidance on grant writing, developing your funding proposal for success, and exploring what’s required for a range of funding programs.

ABA Legal Group's R&D Incentives and Government Grants team, work with clients across a range of government funding and incentive programs to develop proposals in line with your specific project and funding need. ABA Legal provides guidance about government grants you may be eligible for and how they can help you to achieve your business goals.

We look forward to hearing more about eligibility criteria and application process with regional representatives from Austrade, Trade & Investment Queensland, and ABA Legal Group.
