Raising the steaks at Beef Battle 2025
Ten producers competed for the coveted title of Darling Downs Best Beef.
Now in its eighth year, this event is a true celebration of Darling Downs grain-fed beef and has become a prime cut of TSBE’s event calendar.
Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise General Manager – Food Leaders Australia, Rowie Beveridge said it was a rare opportunity for the industry to come together and honour the excellence of the region’s leading beef brands.
“More than 500 guests gathered to ‘meat’ the best in the business and showcase the paddock-to-plate journey and the people who make it happen,” Ms Beveridge said.
Two juicy titles were served up on the night:
- Professional Judges Choice Winner – selected by an exclusive panel of judges who know their sirloin from their scotch.
Winner is Stockyard
- People’s Choice Award – voted by the crowd, proving that when it comes to taste, the people know their beef.
