Pyrocal specialises in the design, build and installation of thermal carbonisation systems that extract value from biomass residues. Examples of biomass include nutshells, cotton gin trash, municipal solid waste, biosolids and vegetable processing waste.

Pyrocal Continuous Carbonisation Technology (CCT) converts biomass into stabilised biocarbon and thermal energy, with a resulting reduction in the volume of biomass. 

With a proven track record, these systems have been implemented commercially since 2014.  The development of the company’s innovative technology started in Australia in 2009. We are based in Toowoomba, Queensland where we operate a full scale commercial system and conduct R&D.
